Jasper AI Features

The Jasper AI software has a lot of features that can be really useful for a content creator, especially if you have the Boss Mode Plan. Here are some of them:

50+ Templates

Jasper AI has a ton of templates that you can use to generate content or copy. These templates are great to create content fast as they are already made for you. You just have to answer questions or add data and Jasper will do its magic. From creating Social Media Posts, to replying to reviews you can do a lot of things with these templates.

Recipes

Recipes in Jasper AI are basically Document templates or SOPs that are filled with Boss Mode commands for you to generate AI content faster. These are very specific, for example, there are recipes for Blog Posts, Facebook Ads, Cold Emails, Rewriting Content.

The community of Jasper AI can also add recipes and actively doing so, there are a lot of recipes added already.

25+ Languages

Jarvis AI supports 25+ languages both in input and output. At the moment, for most languages it's quite fine, of course, it is the best in English. I have tried Hungarian, but it wasn't good.

Unlimited Documents and Project Folders

If you sign up for Boss Mode, you can create an unlimited number of documents and you can create an unlimited amount of project folders. This means if you have a big team or have a lot of projects, you can organize them well in Jasper AI.

Tone of Voice

In Jasper AI, you can also augment the tone of voice of your content. There are tons of voices that you can use, including witty, friendly, and serious and the AI software can also mimic how famous people or celebrities talk (if they are in Jaspers datasets). All you have to do is just enter a name, like Joe Rogan and your content will be written in a way he usually talks.

Long Form Content Creator

With the Boss Mode subscription, you are also getting a long form content creator and editor. With this, you can generate really long pieces of content, for example blog posts, ebooks or even white papers.

You also get to use the commands and the compose button to make your content creation process even faster.

The software looks back at the content that you write and gives better suggestions as it learns your writing style.

Commands of Jasper

There are a lot of commands that Jasper AI can understand, from "write a catchy headline, to "using the content above write a catchy headline that focuses on small businesses".

Jarvis' commands are really powerful, but they can take some time to get used to. But once you get the hang of it, you will be able to create content really fast.

The compose button is also a great feature, as it generates a new piece of content based on the one that you are currently working on.

The Jasper AI team is constantly adding new commands and improving it, so the software is getting better and better.

Surfer SEO Integration

Jasper has integration with Surfer SEO, which can help you to create content that ranks in Google to get more visitors and more business.

If you have an active Surfer SEO subscription, you can connect it inside Jasper and get real-time suggestions on what words, phrases, NLP (Natural Language Processing) entities you should add to your content.

Instead of you having to open up Surfer SEO in another window, you can enable SEO mode, which splits Jasper in two, so Surfer will be on the left side and Jasper on the right side.

Grammarly

Jasper has a Grammarly integration by default. You can turn it on by clicking a button and get real time suggestions on your grammar, spelling and even style.

If you are not a native english speaker or just want to make sure that your content is error free, Grammarly is a great option.

Copyscape Integration

Since Jasper is trained on billions of data, including website pages, it can happen that it generates content that is already on the internet.

To prevent this, you can turn on Copyscape inside Jasper.

When you are done creating content, you can check the whole document with Copyscape to see if it's unique.

If it's not, you can either rewrite it or make some changes so the content will be unique.

It's not free and it's not part of your Jasper AI subscription, you have to add funds to your balance in order for it to work.

Active Community & FB Group

Jasper has an active community and there is also a Facebook group where you can ask for help, if you are stuck or just want to chat with other Jasper users.

The team behind Jasper is also very active in the group and they are constantly adding new features and improvements based on the feedback that they get from the community.

Frequent Updates to Platform

The developer team of Jasper AI is incredibly active. They release new features and improvements regularly, making the platform better and better. This is a big difference between other AI content writing tools and Jasper.

Functionality: How Good is Jasper AI? [Based on Experience]

I think Jasper is a great software and the best is yet to come, with the release of GPT-4.

I have been personally using Jasper for quite a long time now and I'm grandfathered into the Legacy Unlimited Pricing.

As a non-native English speaker, Jasper has helped me a ton when producing content.

It's a great tool for helping you produce content and it also alleviates writer's block.

Jasper is Not a Content Spinner or Mass Content Generator

Most people are under the wrong impression that Jasper is a content spinner or some kind of mass content generator that you can use to generate pitch-perfect content with one click.

No matter how much we would like it, unfortunately, it is not true. The AI industry is just not there yet.

It's not a magic pill, which you can enter one keyword and create blog articles.

If you don't learn how it works, don't feed it relevant data and develop your own processes, the content it will generate will be subpar.

You need to feed data to Jarvis

Although GPT-3 has a ton of data points from a lot of data sources, it doesn't include anything. For example, it is very likely that it doesn't know about you and your business, unless you are a very famous person.

Because of this, you have to feed it data when you use the tool.

This means, if you are writing about your business, include some data about it in the document editor, so Jarvis can look back and understand who you are.

If you want to write about a new product that you just launched, include data about it in the editor.

Especially if you are writing about statistics, make sure you include data in the editor, because otherwise Jarvis will guess the numbers.

Triple Check Facts, Numbers and Statistics

Anytime you write an article with Jasper, make sure you are extra careful with the facts, numbers and statistics that it gives you.

Jasper has a large database, but it doesn't include everything. This means that there will be times when it gives you false data.

It's not a big deal if you are writing an article and it gets one number wrong, but if you are using the data for an insightful business article, then you need to be extra careful.

When in doubt, always check the data with other sources.

I have seen a lot of people relying too much on Jarvis and not checking the data.

And then they get into trouble when their article goes live and people start pointing out errors.

To avoid this, always make sure to double or even triple check the data before you publish your content.

You need to have an SOP to create good content

Like with every process in your business, to get the best out of Jasper, you need to have a standard operating procedure (SOP).

This means that you need to develop a process that you follow every time you use the tool.

For example, my process is as follows:

1. Research: Before I write about a topic, I thoroughly research it. I read a lot of articles, watch videos and learn as much as I can about the topic.

2. Create an outline: Once I have a good understanding of the topic, I create an outline of the article. This helps me to stay on track and not ramble off-topic. I gather Entities, Related Topics, Peoples Also Ask Questions from Google.

3. Write the article: With the help of my outline, I start writing the article.

4. Edit and proofread: Once the article is written, I edit it for clarity and flow. I also make sure to proofread it for any grammar or spelling errors.

5. Publish: After the article is edited and proofread, I publish it on my website.

This is just one example of an SOP, but there are many different ways to develop a process.

The important thing is that you have a process in place so that you can get the most out of Jasper.

Jasper AI + Surfer SEO: Can You Really Rank Blog Posts With These Tools?

Surfer SEO is an SEO content optimization tool, that can help you rank better in Google, by including relevant terms, phrases and entities within your content.

Paired with Jasper, it can help you to create content not only faster, but also optimize it for Google, so that you have a better chance of ranking higher in the search results.

The best process is to follow an SOP like the one I mentioned above and when you are done with writing the content, add it into Surfer SEO.

You can also use the integration in Jasper, but I usually like to keep them seperate.

When optimizing with Surfer SEO, make sure you are not just mindlessly adding entities and phrases into the content. If an entity needs a new section, create a new section and talk about it.

If it fits into a section, then create a new paragraph.

Aim to make your content better by adding more information to it and it will also become SEO optimized.

Writing Digital Marketing Copy with Jasper

Jasper is one of the best ai copywriting tools to help you generate marketing copy or ideas for your landing pages

There are a lot of in built marketing templates in Jasper, like the Problem-Agitate-Solution (PAS) framework or the Before-After-Bridge framework that can help you generate marketing copy or to get some ideas.

What is even better, if you have Boss mode, you can literally create a recipe for any marketing framework you know.

One that I have personally tested, and works great is from a book that we mentioned in our best books for small businesses article, Building a Storybrand by Donald Miller.

The storybrand framework heavily relies on getting a ton of information from the client and writing it down.

Since Jasper is able to look back at the content you wrote, this is perfect.

I have personally used this framework in Jarvis to create:

• Emails
• Website Copy
• Website Headlines
• Copy for Landing Pages
• Copy for Flyers

In the recipes section, there are also a ton of other recipes built by the community based on other marketing frameworks which you can use in the AI copywriting tool.

How can I use Jasper AI writing tool to write blog posts?

There are two ways you can use Jasper:

1. Write the entire blog post in Jasper

2. Use Jasper as an idea generation tool

For both methods, I recommend that you have some sort of process in place.

If you want to use Jasper as a blog post topic ideas generation tool or for generating article outlines, and structures, then you can use the "Blog Post Outline" template.

This will help you to generate ideas for your blog post and give you a structure to follow.

If you want to write the entire blog post in Jasper, then I recommend that you use the Long Form Content Creator, or as it is called in the software, "Documents" feature.

You can then follow a process like this:

1. Choose the topic you want to write about
2. Do some research on the topic and take notes
3. Input your notes into Jasper's Document Writer and fill in the setting for the document
4. Let Jasper generate a draft for you or add a structure yourself
5. Use command or the compose button for generating content
6. Add content wherever necessary
7. Edit and format your content
8. When you are done, export your document or copy and paste it into your CMS

There are also recipes made by the community that you can just open, fill in the blanks and start generating.
